BMO Bank of Montreal Financial Group of Companies is pleased to continue their support to the Fraser Valley Marine Society.
During 2008, combined grants from BMO Employee Charitable Foundation and the BMO Employee Grants Foundation totalled $4,000. With the 2008 combined grants, total support from BMO Bank of Montreal Group of Companies is $10,500.

On May 20th the Municipal Grants Select Committee approved funding in the amount of $2500.00 to the FVMS.
The funds were awarded for the purchase of 3 icom f50 VHF 128 channel portable radios and 1 icom m34 portable marine radio and a suggestion that the partnership between the Society, the Coast Guard and other marine safety programs continue.

Members of the Fraser Valley Marine Society and the C.C.G.A.-P Boating safety unit 102 would like to thank the the management and staff of Stella’s Restaurant for hosting a very successful fund raiser on June 22.
We also want to thank all the local businesses who donated the many door prizes that helped make this event a huge success.
