The District of Mission will be holding an open house on Sunday May 3, 12 noon to 5pm at Mission Fire/Rescue Service,  Fire Station #1 33330-7th Ave Mission. Members of the Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary Boating Safety Unit 102 will be on site with their community events trailer with a display of boating safety equipment, and Pudka the Safety Bear.

 Mission Search and Rescue, Mission Amateur Radio, R.C.M.P., B.C. Ambulance, Mission Fire/Rescue Services and other members of the District of Mission Emergency Preparedness team will be available to answer any of your questions. Be sure to mark your calendar and drop in for an afternoon of fun.

Members of the Fraser Valley Marine Society will be holding a hot dog sale to raise funds to help support boating safety in the Fraser Valley. Our community events trailer will be on site with a display of boating safety equipment.

If you do not have your Pleasure Craft Operators Card be sure to drop by and challenge the test ($40.00). There will also be a registation sheet to sign up for the Pleasure Craft Operators Card course.
